JoJo released"The Change" on Friday , an inspiring Diane Warren-penned ballad aimed at getting out the vote for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
With just 32 days left until the Nov. 3 election, JoJo's voice carries the clear, soaring message that now is not the time for pointing fingers, but instead a chance to be the change you want to see. "I'm not gonna blame, put the blame on nobody/ All that's gonna get me, is get me nowhere/ I'm just gonna look, gonna look in the mirror/ And start there," she sings on the opening verse of the campaign's official anthem before shifting into the swelling chorus.
Warren added that she is"honored and humbled" that Biden chose her song as part of his campaign's get out eh vote effort."'The Change’ is a song about how change begins with us," she said."We live in a time where a change is needed now more than ever. I hope this song inspires us all to realize that each one of us has the power to change the world.”on Oct. 22 on the live show following the final presidential debate.
