In just his third career marathon, Hiley won on a bright and sunny Saturday morning with mild temperatures at the finish line with a time of 2 hours, 19 minutes and 14 seconds. “It was beautiful,” Hiley said of crossing the line first. “My brother was there the last 200 meters, so he cheered me on. Great crowd. Just knowing you're about to approach the finish line in first place is an amazing feeling.”
Connor Weaver, 27, Lewisville, won the men’s half marathon in 1:05.55. A former collegiate runner of BYU and then a graduate season at Utah State, is new to Texas and it was his first time running the Woodlands Half Marathon.
