Rep. Jim_Jordan said to expect appropriations legislation coming from the House next week that will employ Congress’s “power of the purse” and seek to withhold government funding of the FBI amid allegations of corruption within the federal agency.
“We will use the appropriations process,” Jordan told The Ingraham Angle. “The first appropriations bill is going to pass next week out of the House, and then we have several others. We have to use the power of the purse.”“And, frankly, what we also have to do — [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] reauthorization is up this year,” Jordan added. “We have to fundamentally change FISA. Ge the FBI out that program altogether. We’re sick of the abuse that takes place there.
The Ohio Republican also called for the FBI to make public the FD-1023 form that allegedly details a “criminal bribery scheme” involving President Joe Biden and newly revealed “foreign national” Mykola Zlochevsky, the Ukrainian owner of Burisma.
