Alexander Sims replacing Taylor at Corvette Racing; Taylor moving to Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Autosport.
Taylor, who spent the past four years with Corvette Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, is returning to Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Autosport, where he will compete in the GTP class next year.
Meanwhile, Alexander Sims is moving from Cadillac Racing's GTP car to Corvette Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship's GTD Pro class in 2024, replacing veteran Taylor.Sims becomes part of a four-driver full-time GTD Pro lineup at Corvette Racing, along with returnees Antonio Garcia, Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg. The actual pairings for the two-car team has yet to be announced."We’re very pleased with the full-season IMSA lineup in the Corvette Z06 GT3.
Taylor spent four seasons with Corvette Racing and won a pair of GT championships and scored a class win at the Rolex 24. He will co-drive WTRAndretti’s Acura ARX-06 car with Louis Deletraz in the GTP class. WTRAndretti's second entry will again be driven by Jordan's brother Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque.
