Sander Berge has been linked with a move to Manchester United as Erik ten Hag tries to bring in another midfielder this summer
Erik ten Hag is keen to sign a new midfielder this summer and the club made Manuel Ugarte a top target. But it does appear that United are ready to move on from the Uruguayan as they are unwilling to match Paris Saint-Germain's whopping £51.4million asking price, as per The Athletic.
Burnley are understood to be willing to sell the 26-year-old, who only moved to Turf Moor from Sheffield United for £12m a year ago. United are not the only team interested in Berge this summer. In fact, Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce are another that are hoping to secure the services of the Norway international. According to Turkish outlet Sabah, Berge has already 'agreed terms' with the Super Lig side, who have offered to 'double the salary' he is on at Burnley.
