A man was shot by another driver while he was in his car at 40 East 18th Street on Sunday, police say.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was shot Sunday while inside his car at 40 East 18th Street, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Sgt. Salas with JSO said an unknown individual in another vehicle pulled up beside the man’s car and shot multiple times. The man, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound on his side. He is in stable condition.This shooting happened less than five minutes away from another shooting that occurred Saturday when another man was shot inside his car. It happened at 1100 West 13th Street at about 2:45 p.m.
The man told police he was shot at multiple times by an unknown person. He was taken to a hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the lower extremities. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information on these shootings to call 904-630-0500 or call Crime Stoppers and receive a possible $3,000 reward at 1-866-845-TIPS.
