UPDATE: A man aged in his late teens to early 20s has died after suffering a gunshot wound.

JSO reports that at around 7:30 p.m. Officer responded to the 5300 block of Golfbrook Dr. in response to a shooting. When arriving at the scene, Officers found a man aged in his late teens to early 20s suffering from a gunshot wound. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department transported the victim to a nearby hospital where they later died of their injuries.Homicide Detectives, Crime Scene Detectives, and the Medical Examiner Investigator are on the scene and are completing a detailed investigation.
