The Liverpool manager spoke to the media on Friday ahead of the clash with Bournemouth this weekend
Jurgen Klopp has indicated Liverpool will still look to make signings this summer - but has ruled out any major departures before the transfer window closes.
The 30-year-old defensive midfielder follows £35m Alexis Mac Allister and £60m Dominik Szoboszlai as Klopp looks to overhaul his engine room following the departures of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita. And while dismissing the prospect of losing more key players before the September 1 deadline - Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah and Thiago Alcantara have all attracted interest from Saudi Arabia - Klopp believes there could be more signings, with a left-sided centre-back having been high on the list of priorities this summer.
"We will keep watching, we will keep looking, we will try with all we have to make the best decisions for this club."
