A jury has found Isaac Patton guilty of murder, ending a 6-year search for justice by the family of Tristen Mogadam, who was killed at 18-years-old during a low-level drug deal.

Police said Mogadam pushed Patton after he brandished a gun, and then another man with Patton said "blast him" before Mogadam's brother reported hearing three gunshots — one of which hit and killed Mogadam. The jury reached its decision on the third day of the trial last week after about three hours of deliberation.
