Justin Timberlake was arrested in New York on Monday evening on drink driving-related charges, Newsday has reported – with confirmation from local Justice Court representatives. Timberlake, 43, is due to be arraigned in the town’s court Tuesday. Authorities have not yet released the specific charges on which the singer was arrested, but did confirm to the paper that it was for driving under the influence. Representatives for Timberlake did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Justin Timberlake is in the midst of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, with the next show scheduled for Friday in Chicago – and stops in New York City next week. The former *NSYNC frontman released his latest solo album in March.
