Mets’ star free-agent acquisition, Justin Verlander, and Yankee ace Gerrit Cole shared a double date with their wives, Kate Upton and Amy Cole, while on a boat touring the Statue of Liberty.
The twosome of Amy and Kate were also pictured together in a suite during last week’s Subway Series at Citi Field.
During their two seasons as teammates, Verlander had a 2.55 ERA while winning 37 games between the two seasons, including 21 in 2019 and adding the AL CY Young Award to his hardware collection. The Juan Soto, Stephen Strasburg-led Nationals would wind up winning the 2019 World Series against Houston in seven games.
