Kadarius Toney hasn’t forgotten how his tenure with the Giants ended last season.

Toney had a crucial fourth-quarter 65-yard punt return and moments before that was on the receiving end of a 5-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes.

The Chiefs are expecting Toney to play a bigger role next season after getting into seven regular season games following the trade. Iceboxin March. “He came in and did what we asked. We had to rest him for a while with the hamstring, we tried to get that back and I could see where he wanted to rush things back and get back in there — he loves to play. The Chiefs’ head coach also noted that he didn’t notice any attitude issues with Toney once he arrived in Kansas City.“He was great,” Reid said.

Toney may have cleaned up his act once he got to the Chiefs, but it would be hard to imagine he won’t have any more messages for his former team if he continues to succeed in Kansas City.
