Karamoko Dembele has finally started his first real run of consistent first team football at Blackpool.
Karamoko Dembele scored a superb goal in the FA Cup for Blackpool at the weekend to continue his hot streak on the Lancashire coast - and he's earned the plaudits of a former Celtic striker.
It's been a loan spell at League One side Blackpool that has kicked his career into overdrive, with Dembele beginning to show his talents with three goals in 11 games from the wing. And his wonderful mazy run against Bromley at the weekend drew huge compliments from former Hoops man Dion Dublin, who said that even by looking at Dembele, you can tell he's played at a high level before.
"He takes the ball in great positions, and really uses his height and his power. For the goal, he changes direction really quickly, bombs it into Kouassi, and gets the ball back. It’s a terrible pass to him, but it’s a lovely finish."
