Prince William and Kate Middleton declined to let Prince George pet a marsupial at a zoo during their royal tour of Australia in 2014.
George was just 10 months old at the time and a zookeeper at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney encouraged theKate politely but firmly declined, explaining that George had"quite a strong grip," meaning it was also in the animal's best interest not to have them interact.
