This particular shade of blue is Kate's favorite, and it supposedly has a calming energy to it. Kate wears that color a lot, so, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that she and her sister-in-law match every once in a while.
Many think this dress is a recycled number from one she wore in the past. Kate is eco-friendly when it comes to fashion, and isn't afraid to rewear a look. Especially, for something as informal as a video message, it's totally fine for the royal to throw on something she already has and likes. The dress, from British designer Stella McCartney, has a perfect fit and looks great dressed up or down.
