Kate Middleton wore Princess Diana's pearl earrings at the Remembrance Day Service on Sunday
and other senior members of the royal family appeared to commemorate Remembrance Day on Sunday , although Her Majesty the Queen was not in attendance.
The Duchess of Cambridge joined the Duchess of Cornwall, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex on a balcony overlooking The Cenotaph at the National Service of Remembrance in London. She and Camilla watched as Prince Charles laid a wreath on the monument behalf of his mother, the Queen, who pulled out of the event due to a back sprain.
For the occasion, Kate donned a military-style Alexander McQueen coat, featuring a white collar and red detailing, which she previously wore to the 2018 Remembrance Day ceremony. She accessorized the look with a black drop-trim hat and a Royal British Legion crystal flower brooch worn over a trio of traditional red poppies. She also wore a pair of pearl drop earrings that previously belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
The Duke and Duchess attended the National Service of Remembrance with members of The Royal Family at the Cenotaph this morning to pay their respect for those who have served and continue to serve our nation.
