Katie Price was declared bankrupt for the second time in three years after failing to pay off her debts.
Katie Price, the former glamour model, has been declared bankrupt over an unpaid tax bill of more than £750,000, despite spending a lot on holidays and surgeries.
In December 2019, Katie was declared bankrupt for a year and agreed to pay £12,000 a month to creditors to get out of debt, but this plan didn't work. Barrister Darragh Connell, representing the trustees, said that Katie had reached a voluntary agreement in a separate dispute over her unpaid debts. He said that the agreement included 36 payments of £12,500, as well as a lump sum.The court heard that trustees went to court to ask for an income payment order, meaning that money from Katie's earnings would go towards her debts.
Whilst the fines pile up, much of the TV personality's TV work has slowly dried up. Katie Price - once a high-earning TV personality and model, has seen her fortunes dwindle in recent years. She even set up an Instagram page to sell 'official Katie Price memorabilia', which includes previously worn lingerie and her wedding dress from her marriage to Peter Andre.
Katie also loves fillers - she's had injections in her lips and face to enhance her smile and smooth her skin.The price tags of these tweaks were revealed, with the recent procedures pushing the total she has spent on body modifications to £130,000.
