However, the Balearic Government Government Department of the Environment is now looking into whether the performer and her crew possibly damaged protected dunes on the islet of s'Espalmador, per the Majorca Daily Bulletin. According to the outlet, the production company involved with the shoot did not acquire or apply for permission to film in the specific area.
The islet of s'Espalmador as well as Ses Illetes are a part of the Salinas de Santa Pola nature preserve, a 'natural 15.000-hectare site that protects southern Ibiza and northern Formentera.'
