One Katy resident is all smiles after claiming a $19 million jackpot prize for the Lotto Texas drawing held on Sept. 17, according to Texas Lotto.
The cash value option was selected at the time of purchase and the claimant will receive $11,992,501.82 before taxes.The ticket was purchased at Master Food Mart, located at 13053 E. FM 1097 Road, in Willis, Texas. The winner remains anonymous. They told the Texas Lottery they were “surprised” when they realized they won and then “prayed to God to be able to have good administration and wisdom.”
With the recent Lotto Texas jackpot prize winnings, the winner said they plan to use the money for traveling and business.
