American billionaire Friedkin struck an exclusivity agreement to buy Farhad Moshiri’s majority stake in the Merseyside club last Friday . Finch Farm originally opened in 2007 and is owned by Liverpool City Council, who spent £4million on improvements in 2016. Leicester and Aston Villa are among the Premier League clubs to open state-of-the-art training grounds in recent seasons.Wyness claimed potential improvements at Finch Farm could include increasing the area and building a dedicated hotel.“I built the facility during my time at the club and it’s been upgraded since then, so you’re working from a very good facility straight away.
“There is land around it to expand, so it’ll be a case of increasing the size of the area or building a hotel.
