Kelly Brook: ‘I had to plan my wedding in just six weeks’
She’s been with her Mr Right for nearly eight years, but when it came to tying the knot, Kelly Brook certainly didn’t hang around. The gorgeous model has revealed how her long-term relationship suddenly took on a whole new level of urgency as she and her groom raced to fit their big day into their hectic diaries.
“With our busy work schedules and the quick turnaround of an Italian wedding, we only had six weeks to plan our special day once we received the paperwork required to get married abroad,” she reveals, in an interview to promote her new home and fashion collection with F&F. The bride looked stunning in her Savannah Miller gown, and she’s now lending her style credentials to a chic yet impressively affordable new collection with F&F. She says she created the range to cover all the key strands of her busy life – “whether that’s walking the dog before heading out to work, seeing friends, or coming home and cosying up on the sofa”. Sounds idyllic.
The star also discusses how she’s grown in confidence over the years, and has learned to thrive while taking risks. “You have to love what you do and enjoy the way things make you feel,” she says. “I’m also not afraid to fail – sometimes things don’t go right the first time but the process can be fun and it always works out in the end.”
