Celtic assistant manager John Kennedy has opened up on the crushing aftermath of the horrific knee injury which derailed his burgeoning playing career for the first time.
And now Kennedy, speaking on the Celtic View podcast, he said: "I went from a period of making my debut, playing in Barcelona, playing at Ibrox, then all of a sudden everything is taken away. You're sitting literally in the hands of the doctors Roddy MacDonald, who was here at the time, we visited the hospital and got some scans. The doctor in Glasgow at the time, his words were basically 'I've never seen anything like this. It was such a horrific injury.
