Kerry said watching TV is her 'favourite thing'
The popular programme sees "regular" people give their critiques of the week's best telly, and a celebrity edition was formed back in 2019. Given how well-received Gogglebox has been in the UK, a number of versions have popped up internationally over the years.
And former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry has now bagged herself a role on the Irish edition. While the mum-of-five hails from Warrington, she has some pretty strong connections to the Emerald Isle.Her ex-husband is none other than former Westlife star Brian McFadden with whom she shares two children. And the ex-couple’s eldest daughter, Molly Marie, even lived in Ireland and attended school in Dublin.
She will be giving her honest opinions of the latest telly alongside comedian and writer Alison Spittle on her sofa to watch the best TV has to offer, the Mirror reports. Kerry said: “My favourite thing in the whole world is watching television. I think watching people’s reactions to certain things on TV is hilarious, which is I why love Gogglebox.”
Alison said: “I love Gogglebox, I’ve always wondered what it was like to watch telly on telly like a TV turducken. Delighted to show Kerry the glamorous delights of Moate and the surrounding environs of Westmeath, failing that we’ll just watch TV.”
