Kiehl's has added to its bestselling Midnight Recovery range with the Cloud Cream that promises to nourish and plump for a radiant complexion.
Using the much-loved botanical blend found in the Midnight Recovery Concentrate, as well as a new liquid crystal emulsification technology and oils rich in Omega-6 and Omega-3, the Cloud Cream promises to help replenish the skin’s protective lipid layer.
The cream works by locking in moisture and boosting plumpness for a supple, radiant look. It's cloud-like in texture and with a calming lavender aroma to help you relax at night. What's more, the brand says it combats the negative effects lack of sleep has on skin. A Kiehl's consumer study found after four weeks of use, 94% of participants agreed their skin felt supple, 85% agreed their skin looked radiant, and 94% agreed their skin felt nourished.
Speaking about the latest addition to the range, Dr. Nancy Ilaya PhD, Kiehl’s Global Scientific Director said:"Through our clinical and consumer studies on panelists who specifically suffer from poor sleep, we discovered visible damage to the skin, including depleted lipids and loss of moisture, which if left untreated, could become permanent and lead to visible aging.
"To improve these facial signs, we formulated the cream with botanicals rich in omega fatty acids to help replenish the lipid layer. The oil-in-water formula also uses a unique liquid crystal emulsifier which encapsulates the oil droplets and integrates them within the skin’s surface, helping to provide long-lasting hydration and a replenishing effect for the lipid barrier."
