Kilcoo are through to a 12th county final and they'll meet Burren in the Down SFC decider
Morgan Fuels Down SFC semi-final:Kilcoo progressed to the Down SFC final for the 12th successive season, but their 11-point win over Clonduff was overshadowed by a series of mass brawls in stoppage-time at Páirc Esler on Sunday night.
Yet, there could be further repercussions in the coming days with a late brawl threatening to spill over into the main stand at the Newry venue.Kilcoo dominated the first half with Jerome Johnston’s stunning goal putting them in command. Despite playing with a bit more freedom, Clonduff’s final pass let them down too often with Kilcoo able to build from the back with Eugene Branagan helping himself to three points from play through the contest.
A series of brawls then marred the end of the game with Carr picking up his red card before another larger scuffle broke out involving players from both sides.
