Brandon Froggatt, 21, flew to Tenerife for a week before being arrested
A young drug dealer fled to Tenerife after fatally stabbing a 'much-loved' dad-of-two who had tried to rob him.

He said: "On an ordinary Sunday afternoon, on June 11, 2023, the lives of two families came crashing down because you killed Corey Duffy. You did not set out to, you did not intend to, but you did.
He told the court: "Against a background of drug dealing and crime, the defendant and the deceased had chosen to engage in an unlawful fight with weapons, in a quiet residential area, in broad daylight, with bloody and fatal consequences. It was a needless waste of a precious life." The prosecutor said: "In the light of CCTV evidence, on June 15 police officers went to Ashley Street to arrest the defendant on suspicion of murder but they were far too late. By now the defendant was several steps ahead of them, he was nowhere to be seen, he had gone. Disappeared.
Mr Aspden said that days before the killing, phone records revealed that the defendant sent a mass-marketing message to drug-using customers advertising illegal substances for sale.
