Killie need to overturn a 2-0 deficit against the Danes tonight
Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes says his players need to turn Rugby Park into FC Copenhagen's 'biggest nightmare' if they're to cause a Europa Conference League shock tonight.
Speaking to the press ahead of the game, the boss said: "It’s an opportunity for us to try and deliver probably one of the biggest results in the club’s history. I’m quite excited by the fact that we’re getting that chance. We were 14 minutes away from an unbelievable result over there and I thought we did so much right in the game.
"It’s up to use to throw a few more punches than we did last week. We’re determined to give this our best shot. If we get the first goal then we feel it will be game on. If we lose it, of course it’s a huge mountain to climb.” "Rangers and Celtic are teams we’ve beaten at home in the last calendar year and I’d put them above Copenhagen, so we know it can be done. We know it’s difficult but while we’ve got a chance, it’s important that we try to deliver a big performance."
