Kim Kardashian sparked fierce backlash after fans learned she would be appearing on Variety's Actors on Actors series opposite Oscar-nominated actress Chloe Sevigny .
But X users took offense on behalf of Chloe - who received an Oscar nod for the 2000 film Boys Don't Cry - as they slammed the decision to even have Kim appear on the series. 'Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated,' he told Elle UK magazine back in 2012.
'I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We're all working hard and we all have to respect one another.'
