During Kimberly Guilfoyle’s online show, she also revealed that she supported the recall election against her ex-husband and cracked a joke about his French Laundry scandal.

FILE – In this Aug. 24, 2020, file photo Kimberly Guilfoyle speaks as she tapes her speech for the first day of the Republican National Convention from the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington. The Republican National Convention last month featured relentless attacks on Democrats, mirroring what’s playing out in the state.

“All that’s happened under the one-party Democratic rule in Sacramento and under the reign of Gov. Gavin Newsom,” Guilfoyle said. “All this raises the question: Can California ever be golden again?” said Guilfoyle, a native of San Francisco. In response to the report, a spokesperson for the governor said that his business and financial holdings are held and managed by a blind trust, as they have been since he was first elected governor in 2018.

“I sold it. I’m out of it,” Guilfoyle said about PlumpJack. She said it’s “pretty obvious” that her ex-husband should have been more upfront about his financial ties to SVB. “Especially for somebody who wants to run for president, ethically speaking, if you’re going to lobby the White House and the Treasury and you have a vested interest, that needs to be put upfront,” she said.
