Eileen could win one of three Dream Boxes – with one worth up to £1,500.
Eileen Ferguson, who works at the company’s delivery station in Glasgow, was nominated for a national Amazon Star award by her colleagues.
A group of her colleague’s friends also contributed to the fundraising by shaving their heads for sponsorship. “I love the idea of getting everybody together as a team and getting everyone involved to raise awareness of or funds for important causes. Team efforts create positive safe spaces and can create a butterfly effect of generosity across the community. Knowing that I am helping charities that do so much for our community is so satisfying at the end of the day.”She joined the team at the delivery station as soon as she graduated but planned to move on from the role shortly after.
“I also like working at Amazon because no day is the same. I learn new things all the time and I have the possibility of climbing the ladder and progressing in many career in any way I want to. It is humbling to have received a nomination for an Amazon Star award.”
