King Charles III enjoys the same drink daily 'before dinner', according to one of his friends. Count Tibor Kalnoky also revealed that the King travels with a special glass for his daily drink when he travels.
Appearing on a Channel 4 show, Count Tibor opened up on his relationship with Charles. He said: "Charles discovered this very unique corner of Europe and has been coming to this place every year. The Count also spilled the name of the nightly drink he enjoyed when he stayed in his house in Viscri, Transylvania, "every night before dinner". Tibor said: "He likes a martini before dinner, that's for sure."
Queen Elizabeth on the other hand preferred a different tipple and opted for a gin and Dubonnet instead. Dubonnet is a sweet, wine-based aperitif consisting of herbs and spices.
