Boyd didn't hold back on the Ibrox boss following his Dundee post-match comments.
Barry Ferguson is less than impressed by the raging rant from his old Rangers teammate Kris Boyd - which took aim at Philippe Clement and declared Celtic champions.
Sky Sports pundit Boyd wasn't having Clement's assessment of the Light Blues performance at Dundee on Wednesday - with the stalemate at Dens Park leaving Celtic with a three point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership alongside the Hoops' superior goal difference.
He would go on to declare Brendan Rodgers' men champions following a heated exchange with James McFadden and Chris Sutton. Asked about Boyd's comments and he declaration that the title race was over on Go Radio, Ferguson rubbished the views of his old pal. He refused to give up hope that James Tavernier would lift the trophy next month stating: "I have been in football long enough to realise anything can happen. It is still possible for Rangers.
"And from a Rangers point of view they have got to believe that. They are going to have to do it the hardest way possible and if you look back on the last couple of games I can see why people are saying it's not going to happen for Rangers, but listen, I know how football operates. I have been involved in a couple of these run-in's in the past and while you are still involved you have got to believe.
