White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said he remains “bullish” on the prospect of a U.S.-China trade deal being finalized sometime in April
White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said Sunday morning that he remains “bullish” on the prospect of a U.S.-China trade deal being finalized sometime in April. But Kudlow noted that despite how optimistic he is about the possibility of a deal, ultimately, the decision is up to President Donald Trump.
“I don’t want to predict,” he said. “It’s up to the president and not to me, but I think the headway has been good. “Across the board, the deal has to be good for the United States and for our workers, and our farmers, and our manufacturing,” Kudlow said. “It’s got to be good. It’s got to be fair and reciprocal and it’s got to be enforceable.”
