Per Deadline, the Monarch: Legacy of Monsters series includes a unique storyline that takes place in two separate time periods. Both will feature the mysterious Army officer Lee Shaw, with one set in the 1950s, and one half a century later. However, in the earlier timeline, the character will be played by Wyatt Russell, while he will be played in the later era by Wyatt's real-life father Kurt Russell.
