Clifford, 26, is accused of three counts of murder after Carol Hunt and daughters Louise and Hannah died in a crossbow attack at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, in July.
A man has been charged with murdering the wife and two daughters of racing commentator John Hunt in a crossbow attack. Kyle Clifford, 26, from Enfield, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court where he was remanded into custody ahead of an Old Bailey appearance, being held at the nearby Royal Courts of Justice, this afternoon. He is also charged with false imprisonment and two counts of possession of offensive weapons, Bedfordshire Police said.
Police were previously unable to speak to the suspect while he received treatment for an injury in hospital. Detective chief inspector Nick Gardner said: 'Our thoughts remain with the Hunt family and their loved ones as they continue to come to terms with their loss. 'Over the past couple of months, we have been working hard to gather as much evidence as possible and establish the full circumstances of what happened that day.
