The Celtic talisman was left in a crumpled heap after 37 minutes with Mikey Devlin making contact with the striker.
Unimpressed Kris Boyd claims Kyogo's claim for a penalty was a non-starter as he vehemently disagreed with sparring partner Chris Sutton.
But Boyd and Sutton – as is often the case – landed on different sides of the debate with fellow guest Robert Snodgrass siding with Sutton and viewing it as a penalty. Speaking to Sky Sports, Sutton said: "I think Celtic will feel hard done by. I've had to look at this numerous times, myself. I am really surprised Don Robertson wasn't sent over to the monitor to have a look. There is contact, Kyogo gets to the ball first, so I think it is a penalty.
A visibly dismayed Sutton told his sparring partner he watching a different game over his verdict on the spot kick shout. And speaking from the commentary booth, James McFadden said: "He does kick him, he does kick him. I think Mikey Devlin might be a lucky boy. It's not heavy contact but he has kicked through him to get to the ball."
