Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Darren Jones MP, told BBC Breakfast the new Labour Government needs more details on eligibility for compensation
In an appearance on the BBC Breakfast programme, the Treasury's Chief Secretary, Darren Jones MP, recognised that there is "more work to be done" in crafting an appropriate compensation scheme for the millions of women born in the 1950s who have been affected due to alterations to their State Pension age.
Additionally, he informed viewers that Liz Kendall MP, the new Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, has "already talked about picking up that work and taking it forward". However, he did confirm that Labour plans to address the State Pension compensation issue and move it forward.
