Lady Gaga announced her return to the 2020 VMAs stage on Twitter today with a video of the singer sipping red wine and donning a bathrobe and headpiece.
Gaga's return to the VMA stage will be her first live performance since releasing her sixth studio album,earlier this summer and her first time back at the awards show since 2013. A front-runner for this year's ceremony with a leading nine nominations, Gaga is up for Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Artist of the Year, and more.
The singer previously celebrated her nine nominations with a fresh-faced, at-home selfie on Instagram,nominations this year for my album, for Rain On Me, and other performances I've given," wrote Gaga in her post."This is such a difficult time for people all over the world, I really honor how lucky I am to have a day like today. I hope you all will celebrate yourselves in this moment, everyone should be nominated for an award right now.
