To wit, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver and kick returner Raymond"Ray-Ray" McCloud III spoke with Brandon"Scoop B" Robinson on his Scoop B Radio Podcast explained how the 18-time All-Star and five-time champion's killer instinct inspired McCloud's career. "He wasn’t playing with NOBODY!" McCloud said."No blinking. Just the mentality of not flinching… he wants the last shot. He always wanted to be challenged, you know? Whether it's a win or a loss he’ll take the blame; he wants the weight on his back."
Bryant, a 6'6" swingman whom the Lakers selected straight out of high school with the No. 13 pick in the infamously loaded 1996 NBA draft, enjoyed an epic 20-year pro career with LA, averaging 25.0 points on .447/.39/.837 shooting splits, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists across his 1346 regular contests with the team. In addition to his All-Star appearances and titles, he also won the league MVP award in 2008.
