Paul Clark has spent the past year as a backing singer for Shania Twain after he caught the country music legend's eye when he appeared on the TV show Starstruck.
A Lanarkshire music student has lived his dream after being hand-picked by Shania Twain to tour the world with her.
The 24-year-old from Salsburgh in North Lanarkshire, completed his HND Music at the college last year and featured on the TV show Starstruck, It was there that he caught the eyes and ears of the Canadian superstar, who was one of the judges. Before I knew it I was on a plane in March, flying to Las Vegas for rehearsals and started touring in April.
Yvonne Tipping who taught Paul during his time on the course said: “Paul’s vocal ability was always excellent and he was always very humble with it. He has always kept in touch and we have been delighted to see him do so well.”
