Poppyscotland is delighted to announce the return of their Clyde Zip Slide fundraising event, taking place on Sunday, September 8.
A veterans charity is calling on Lanarkshire thrill-seekers to take part in a fundraiser across Glasgow ’s skyline.
Participants are being asked to raise money for Poppyscotland, Scotland’s leading Armed Forces charities.Get all the news from your area – as well as features, entertainment, sport and the latest on Lanarkshire’s recovery from the coronavirus pandemic – straight to your fingertips, 24/7. This is the third iteration of the Poppyscotland Clyde Zip Slide, which has enjoyed great support. Last year, participants arrived from all over the country to take part and were blessed with t-shirt weather for the rushing ride over the heart of Glasgow.

The Scottish public are tremendously gracious in their support of our Armed Forces community, and this is a great opportunity for thrill seekers and families alike to make a meaningful contribution to those who keep us safe and free.
