NARVON, Pa. — State Police have charged a Lancaster County teen with attempted first-degree homicide and other offenses after he allegedly shot a man with a BB gun and stabbed him several times with a kitchen knife during an altercation last week.
Nicholas Tyler Martin, 16, of Narvon, allegedly told police he intended to kill the 33-year-old victim he's accused of attacking shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 11, according to a criminal complaint affidavit filed by investigators.According to police, the alleged attack occurred at a home on the 6100 block of Division Highway in Caernarvon Township. A witness told police that when the victim arrived at the home, Martin emerged with a BB gun and a 5.5-inch kitchen knife.
The victim sustained injuries to his left shoulder, abdomen, hand and left arm, police said. He was transported to Reading Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery to treat his wounds. After police took him into custody at the scene, Martin was also transported to Reading Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He was interviewed by investigators at the hospital, where he allegedly admitted to shooting and stabbing the victim and stated it was his intention to kill the victim during his attack.
