The village is almost hidden geographically, nestled next to the A6068 Barrowford Road but with the main road offering no way through the area. Instead, its two unassuming side roads that bring you to town meaning you may well have driven by and not even noticed. Andrew is especially fond of the village and surrounding landscape along with its links to witchcraft and the story of the Pendle Witches. There's a labyrinth of walking trails to explore, with the Ribble Valley only few tree-lined fields over.
