Vegan Dining Month is set to start on January 1 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will offer vegan and vegan-curious diners the opportunity to try delicious plant-based meals at dozens of Las Vegas restaurants.
Each participating restaurant will have unique vegan menus that are created with both vegan and vegan-curious people in mind. The menus introduce diners to chefs and eateries that might be new to them. In turn, chefs and restaurant owners get to know more about the demand for plant-based dining options in the community.
More than 30 Las Vegas restaurants are participating. For example, Yukon Pizza, TIABI Coffee & Waffle, Barry’s Downtown Prime, Graze Kitchen, Golden Fog Coffee, Tommy Rocker’s, and Valencian Gold are all taking part in the event. Delectable dishes that will be served include everything from veganized Korean BBQ to scrumptious apple blueberry turnovers.
“I think what surprises people the most about the vegan scene in Las Vegas is that there is a vegan scene in Las Vegas,” explained Edelman. “The town is known for foodie spots and meat-heavy menus, but there are actually a ton of options. In fact, Las Vegas is regularly ranked as one of the top vegan-friendly cities in the United States.”
If you are coming from out of town, Edelman advised, “Plan ahead where you want to go and eat. Las Vegas is sprawling, and the restaurants participating are scattered around town.”that lists every participating restaurant, and it includes a map to make it easy to plan the meals you want to enjoy during the month.
Vegan Dining Month has raised over $15,000 for various local and national animal-oriented non-profit organization since it started five years ago. This year, each participating restaurant is donating a portion of their proceeds to
