Recording their debut album live in a garage wasn't ideal, butThe 10-set track released under DEL Records scored the Mexican-American trio their first top 10 onComposed of Pedro Tovar on vocals, Gabriel Hidalgo on background vocals and harmony and Brian Tovar with the bass and bajoloche, the teenage trio formed two years ago, becoming part of the new generation ofThe name Eslabon Armado was given to them by Pedro and Brian's dad, who inspired Tovar to start writing in the first place.

"My dad used to help this music group back in the day when we lived in the Bay Area," Pedro says."He started listening tomusic [popular in the northern states of Mexico], and that's when my passion for music started. He would write songs, not professionally, and I started to write too. I was, like, 10 years old."music, depending heavily each other's unique talents."Our sound is nothing fancy," he says.
