Latin remix of the Week: Mariahangeliq Perreito gets the Arcangel & Darell treatment
joined forces for an official remix released Sept. 26, bringing to the forefront a combination between the old and new generation of Latin urban music.
The remix, which at the time of publishing has no official music video, kicks off with Darell’s signature “everybody go to the discotek” followed by Arcangel’s witty rhymes about a woman who likes a man with swag. In response to Arcangel, Darell sings about seducing a woman and dancing dirty with her all night long. Mariah chants the chorus throughout the track.
The Miami-based half-Cuban, half-Puerto Rican artist, who fuses pop, urban and R&B melodies, was discovered at 16 by multi-platinum music producer Nely "El Arma Secreta," who has been working with her since day one. She’s also signed to Universal Music Latin.
