The area covered is bordered by Cardigan Road, Victoria Road, Woodhouse Lane, Clarendon Road, Woodsley Road and Burley Road
Police in Leeds have placed an area of Hyde Park under a dispersal order after multiple incidences of anti-social behaviour which have seen fireworks thrown at a restaurant and bricks aimed at a police vehicle.
Bricks have also been thrown at a police car in Royal Park Road during the wave of ASB. Police said there were no injuries reported during the incidents but one male has been arrested and another was taken home to their parents.A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "A dispersal order is being put in place in the Hyde Park area of Leeds after multiple reports of firework-related anti-social behaviour .
"No injuries were reported in any of the above incidents. One male has been arrested and another was taken home to their parents. . Under this power, which falls under Section 34 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act, officers have the right to disperse and remove any person suspected of contributing or likely to contribute to ASB and instruct the surrender of any relevant property.
