She says she has a 'miracle' cure to thank
A Leeds woman who became a recluse after developing severe eczema triggered by the menopause has found a 'miracle' cure.
"But in January this year, my eyelids started to swell and were very red – I felt and looked awful and had to wear sunglasses outside to mask it all, even though it was the middle of winter. My eyelids became extremely sore and very itchy in a matter of weeks – I didn’t know what was happening to me.
She said: "I used the hydrocortisone for the whole month before contacting my GP to explain it was having no effect and in fact was actually making it slightly worse. I decided I must start researching for myself to find something to help me." "I’ve come from a generation where my mother and my grandmother would not discuss or mention menopause, so I did not really know what to expect. But when the doctor actually said my eyes could be because of the menopause, it made perfect sense. I can see that my body could somehow get super sensitive."
