The same problem keeps cropping up
Seventeen days stand between Leeds United and deadline day in the transfer window, with Daniel Farke still wanting at least three signings. In the 24 days since Jayden Bogle arrived, there have been no further additions made at Elland Road, yet there is no panic behind the scenes.
United would have taken the Liverpool man, but were not prepared to guarantee him minutes, regardless of how he performed each week. Farke wants open competition for places with starts earned on merit. Marseille showed their hand on Friday night and Rowe was then not named in Norwich’s Saturday squad, but the winger remains with the Canaries for now. United will monitor Rowe’s situation and asking price before the window closes, but other targets will see doors opened to them in the latter days of this month.
