Crysencio Summerville is reaping the benefits of staying at Leeds United as the trust and bond within the squad continues to grow every day. That’s according to Daniel Farke, who believes it was understandable that talented young players, such as Summerville, were contemplating futures away from Elland Road at the start of the summer.
“Without talking too much about individuals, I think there were many players when I arrived at the beginning thinking about the move,” Farke said when asked about Summerville. “I wouldn’t blame them because it’s also quite natural after this club spent three years at Premier League level and many players played games on Premier League level.
“I was always convinced with our way we want to work and could work, the football we want to play and also our ideas and also the mid-to-long term plans of this amazing football club, we could attract this type of players, quality players. Also with giving some trust and confidence back, we have a chance to get them back on track.
